Intrawest Sells 15 Upscale Townhomes in 30 Minutes at Mammoth, California Selection Event
March 22, 2004

Next Up Is Monache, The Flagship Property for Village at Mammoth

Mammoth Lakes, Calif. (March 22, 2004) – On February 28th, Intrawest (IDR:NYSE; ITW:TSE) needed just 30 minutes to sell all 15 upscale townhomes offered at a selection event for Juniper Crest, a development located in the western part of Mammoth Lakes, CA.
“This is our third sellout in Mammoth in six months, which reaffirms the area’s growing reputation as a top world-class, four-season resort destination.” said Douglas Ogilvy, Intrawest Regional Vice President, Southwest Region.
The most recent phase of Juniper Crest comprises 15 three-bedroom, luxury town homes with floor plans that range in size from 1,993 to 2,414 square feet.  Construction is expected to begin this spring/summer and be completed in late 2005.
The final release of Juniper Crest completes the real estate offering for the Juniper Spring Neighborhood.  Project Sierra, Intrawest’s vision for the development of its lands at Mammoth, includes two other neighborhoods: Sierra Star and The Village at Mammoth.
The Village is the cornerstone of Project Sierra and the center of the region’s renaissance that is transforming Mammoth Lakes from Southern California’s favorite ski area to the next great North American mountain resort.
Modeled after European alpine towns, The Village features pedestrian streets lined with shops, boutiques, and eateries on the ground level, and accommodations on the floors above. The area is a resort epicenter with year-round entertainment, special events, and a new 15-passenger express gondola that will link to Mammoth Mountain.
Next up for Intrawest is a 230-unit “condominium-suite” property that will represent the flagship development in The Village at Mammoth.  Named Monache, the new project will be the first full-service, luxury property in Mammoth Lakes and includes full ownership suites that will be offered for sale in the fall of 2004.
