Ski or Tee? Intrawest’s Latest Mammoth, CA Real Estate Offerings Include Fairway Town Homes and Full Service, Flagged Property

Mammoth Lakes, Calif. – With four real estate offerings sold out in Mammoth Lakes over the past 12 months, Intrawest Corporation (IDR:NYSE; ITW:TSE) is moving forward with two luxury real estate projects for 2004. Solstice, an exclusive collection of golf course town homes in the Sierra Star Neighborhood, and Monache, Mammoth’s first full service, luxury property, will offer ideal golf or ski vacation property locations in the region’s newest resort developments.

Intrawest has created one of the fastest emerging mountain destinations in the United States at Mammoth. Solstice and Monache will offer potential buyers the opportunity to own property in this burgeoning resort area.

Solstice

Located along Fairway 16 of the Sierra Star Golf Course, Solstice will be in the heart of the Sierra Star "resort within a resort," Mammoth's premier golf neighborhood. Twenty-five town homes will be released for sale in August 2004 featuring two- and three-bedroom floor plans outfitted with high-end luxury appointments.

In addition to being situated on a fairway – an option sure to appeal to the avid golfer -- these high-end properties are also in close proximity to the chairlifts at Little Eagle Base Camp for year-round recreational options. The town homes will be located on a site heavily wooded with fir and pine trees as well as a natural creek, which will convey a strong sense of the mountain ambiance.  Large windows in each home will afford scenic views that range from the White Mountains to the Sherwins, while all overlook the Sierra Star Golf Course.

Monache

This fall, Intrawest will begin work on Monache, a 231-unit “condominium-suite” property that will be the flagship development in the award-winning Village at Mammoth.  The new project will be the first full-service, internationally recognized hotel brand in the region and includes full ownership suites that will be offered for sale in the fall of 2004.  The Monache will provide spectacular mountain views while overlooking the Village and anchoring the pedestrian experience.

Mammoth has been undergoing a major transformation that is elevating its status among North America’s top mountain resorts. The cornerstone of the region’s renaissance is The Village at Mammoth, which is helping transform the area into a premier, year-round destination.

Modeled after European alpine towns, The Village, recipient of the American Resort Development Association’s 2004 Gold Medal for Resort Architecture, features pedestrian streets lined with shops, boutiques, and eateries on the ground level, and accommodations on the floors above. The area is a resort epicenter with year-round entertainment, special events, and a new 15-passenger express gondola that links to Mammoth Mountain.
