The Appalachian Readies For Landscaping and Special Touches

 

Vernon, N.J. – Continuing on its development path, Mountain Creek’s Appalachian property announced today that the facility will take several steps forward this month. The overall property is working with NJ-based Applied Landscape Technologies to put the finishing touches on the grounds and surrounding areas. The entire landscaping effort which will encompass the completion of the grounds, the pool and deck areas and the outer parking facilities is expected to be completed in mid-November. In addition, the second phase of The Appalachian (known as Appalachian B) which houses an additional 77 units of lodging is nearing its final development stage with furniture and fixtures being installed over the next four weeks. Total completion and opening of Appalachian B is expected prior to the end of 2006.

 

MOUNTAIN CREEK BACKGROUND

Mountain Creek boasts The Appalachian hotel/condominum property that is now open to lodging guests, offering numerous package programs including lodging and outdoor activities. The Appalachian features a total of 177 vacation homes across the two phases of the development. The 77 homes in the second and final phase are expected to be complete by winter. Designed in an Adirondack Grand Hotel motif, The Appalachian has furnished studio, one- and two-bedroom configurations. The slopeside property features ski-in/ski-out access, underground parking, meeting and conference space and a host of other amenities.
